Forensic Psychological Evaluations
Expert Assessments, Fast Turnaround
A central component of my work involves comprehensive, methodologically rigorous forensic psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. These evaluations are designed to address questions of diagnosis, causation, functional impairment, prognosis, and the relationship between psychological injury and real-world outcomes. Evaluations typically integrate clinical interview and record review, standardized psychological and neuropsychological testing, trauma-informed assessment of symptom presentation, and careful consideration of alternative explanations and confounding factors. This work is conducted with attention to forensic standards, role clarity, and ethical boundaries, and is informed by both clinical practice and current neuroscience.
Types of Matters
My forensic involvement has included matters such as traumatic brain injury and concussion-related claims, PTSD and trauma-related psychological injury, catastrophic injury with associated psychological or neurocognitive sequelae, malingering and response validity, competency-related evaluations, civil litigation involving disputed psychological harm, and employment- and disability-related psychological evaluations.
I have served as an expert witness, consultant, and forensic evaluator in a range of matters, including capital murder cases, personal injury litigation, medical malpractice, and criminal defense. I also have extensive experience working with veterans pursuing service-connected disability claims related to mental disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and traumatic brain injury.

Consultative Roles
In addition to formal evaluations, I engage in consultative work with legal teams, professionals, and institutions when a full assessment is not required or when strategic guidance is sought. Consultative roles may involve case conceptualization, review of existing evaluations, analysis of competing expert opinions, or assistance in translating complex psychological and neurological material for non-clinical decision-makers.
This work is collaborative and context-specific, often complementing, but not replacing, formal forensic assessment.
